The group carved in banded agate of varying natural tones, including milky white, grey, and warm honey hues. Comprising two stylised knights of angular, abstracted form, each with faceted planes and gently rounded contours, and three pawns of cylindrical bodies rising to domed or pointed finials above defined circular bases.
