A Chinese Doucai ‘Pomegranate’ Bowl, ‘Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi’ Mark.
A finely enamelled porcelain bowl decorated with scrolling pomegranate vines in vibrant tones of yellow, green, and iron-red against a white ground. The exterior features alternating ripe and budding pomegranates surrounded by curling tendrils and leafy sprays. The interior is left plain white, while the base bears an apocryphal six-character ‘Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi’ mark in underglaze blue.
