A Chinese Blue and White ‘Dragon and Peony’ Dish, Wanli Mark.
A Chinese blue and white porcelain dish, decorated with two confronting five-clawed dragons among scrolling peony blooms within a central medallion. The cavetto continues with further dragons and floral scrolls, all executed in a deep cobalt tone. The rim shows a continuous key-fret border. The underside is painted with additional dragons among peonies encircling the foot. The base bears a six-character Wanli mark within a double circle.
