A Chinese Rock Crystal or Glass Figural Ornament of Mythical Beasts.
The object is modelled as a recumbent mythical beast accompanied by a smaller attendant figure, both rendered in the round. The material is transparent to translucent, with a clear to slightly cloudy body showing internal bubbles and inclusions, consistent with either carved rock crystal or early moulded glass. The larger beast is depicted with a rounded body, pronounced eyes, stylised mane, and a curling tail, while the smaller figure clings closely alongside.
