A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Lidded Censer, Xuande Mark.
A Chinese blue and white porcelain lidded censer of rectangular form, raised on a shaped foot, the exterior decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with striding dragons amid stylised cloud scrolls. The domed cover is pierced with auspicious motifs and surmounted by three small sculpted animal finials, with further applied handles to the sides. The base bears a six-character Xuande reign mark in underglaze blue.
