A Chinese Yellow Ground Famille Verte Enameled Dragon Bowl, Jiaqing Mark – A fine Chinese porcelain bowl of deep, rounded form with an everted rim and a slightly tapered foot. The exterior is decorated with a vibrant imperial yellow ground, prominently featuring two five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl amidst auspicious multi-colored clouds; one dragon is rendered in green enamel, and the other in a reddish-orange hue. The footrim is encircled by a blue and white geometric meander (leiwen) pattern with a green stylized wave band above it, while the interior and rim are plain white. The base bears a four-character iron-red seal script mark, "嘉慶年製" (Jiaqing Nian Zhi), which translates to "Made in the Jiaqing reign."
