A Qajar Painted Portrait of a Courtly Lady, Late 19th Century.
A richly coloured Qajar painted portrait depicting a graceful lady dressed in a vibrant coral-red jacket adorned with delicate circular gilt embellishments along the collar, cuffs, and waistline. Her full blue skirt is softly shaded with vertical tonal variations, finished with a matching gilt border. The figure is shown in an elegant pose with her head slightly tilted and one arm raised, her long dark hair flowing over her shoulder. A green draped curtain with fine yellow cords hangs behind her, while the lower panel features ornate scrolling motifs in deep blue and gold.
