A Silver Umayyad Dirham, Mint of Wāsiṭ, 106 AH (724 AD).
A silver Umayyad dirham struck at the mint of Wāsiṭ in the year 106 AH (corresponding to 724 AD). The obverse displays the central kalima surrounded by Qur’anic inscriptions arranged within a beaded circular border. The reverse features the continuation of the standard Umayyad epigraphic design, with elegant Kufic script forming concentric legends.
