A White Metal Republic of China Yuan Shikai Presentation Plaque.
A circular white metal plaque featuring a central raised profile of Yuan Shikai enclosed within a beaded medallion. Surrounding the portrait is a dense arrangement of relief motifs, including chrysanthemum, peony, lotus, and plum blossoms, interspersed with auspicious fruit and traditional emblematic devices. The outer field is encircled by crescent-shaped cartouches and stylised floral bands, all rendered in crisp low relief. The reverse displays a recessed roundel bearing a wreath surrounding Chinese characters.
