A Large Tibetan Gilt Bronze and Copper Figure of a Crowned Buddha, 19th Century or Later.
A large Tibetan figure of a seated crowned Buddha cast in gilt bronze and copper, depicted in dhyana mudra holding an alms bowl. The deity sits cross-legged upon a double-lotus pedestal adorned with floral scrollwork and small kneeling attendants at the base. The Buddha’s serene face is framed by elongated earlobes and a finely detailed five-pointed crown, while the body is richly engraved with lotus motifs.
