A silver half dirham from Tabarestan, issued under Governor Suleiman between 784–788 AD. The obverse shows the characteristic stylised Sasanian-influenced bust surrounded by circular beading and inscriptions. The reverse features the fire altar flanked by attendants, a defining element of Tabarestan’s post-Sasanian coinage.
