An Ottoman Bronze Ewer with Fluted Gourd-Shaped Body.

A bronze ewer featuring a bulbous, gourd-shaped body with fluted spiralling panels rising toward a tall neck. The neck extends into a domed lid with vertical ridges and a small finial. A curved handle connects the shoulder to the lid, opposite a long, arched spout with a slightly flared tip. The base is raised on a flared foot with openwork lattice decoration.
