A Chinese Jun-Style Blue-Glazed Vase with Applied Chilong.
The vase is finished in a mottled blue glaze with fine crackle, featuring an elegant baluster form with a wide flared mouth. Applied in relief around the shoulder are chilong dragons, depicted in lively movement with curling bodies and detailed features. The glaze transitions between deep cobalt and lighter blue-green tones, pooling naturally around the applied figures.
H: Approximately 24.5cm
Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished British gentleman.
