An Ottoman Copper Openwork Censer on Tripod Feet, 18th–19th Century.
A finely worked Ottoman copper censer, crafted in a domed architectural form with a tall pierced lid surmounted by a pointed finial. The body and cover are richly decorated in openwork arabesques and scrolling floral motifs, interspersed with bands of elegant Arabic inscriptions. The censer rests on three faceted tripod legs.
