A Rajput Miniature Painting of a Royal Procession, 20th Century.
A finely detailed Rajput miniature painting depicting a royal procession in three registers. The central scene shows a nobleman or ruler seated within a canopied howdah atop a richly adorned elephant, accompanied by attendants on horseback. The upper register portrays mounted figures, including a rider in a pink robe and turban, holding a spear, with an attendant walking alongside. The lower register depicts two attendants carrying a large vessel suspended on a pole. The composition is framed with delicate borders and inscribed with script along the vertical edges.
