A Chinese porcelain bowl, delicately decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a dynamic five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, swirling among stylised cloud motifs. The interior mirrors the motif with a central medallion featuring a frontal dragon surrounded by similar cloud forms. The bowl rests on a short foot and has a flared rim accentuated by double blue line borders. Likely Qing dynasty, Kangxi period.
