A Chinese Imari Porcelain Tankard, Kangxi Period, 17th–18th Century.
A finely decorated Chinese porcelain tankard from the Kangxi period (1662–1722), painted in the Imari palette of underglaze cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt. The cylindrical body features alternating shaped panels depicting river landscapes with pavilions and mountains, surrounded by scrolling foliage and stylised peony blooms. The lower section is encircled by bands of geometric and floral borders.
