A Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Snuff Bottle with Turquoise Stopper.

Of rounded form, this Chinese snuff bottle is finely decorated in cloisonné enamel over a brass core. Each main panel features a bold black shòu character against a vibrant yellow ground, framed by scrolling lotus vines and accented with auspicious floral motifs in rich blue, green, red, and white enamels. The shoulders are decorated with flame and petal motifs, transitioning to a blue field of formalized design.
