This vibrant pair of porcelain figures depicts a man and woman dressed in opulent Ottoman-inspired attire, crafted in the 19th century for the Ottoman export market. The male figure stands confidently with a curled moustache, holding a walking stick and wearing a vividly coloured jacket with floral motifs, a feathered turban, and a scabbarded sword hanging at his side. The female figure holds a fan and gestures elegantly, adorned in a flowing gown decorated with stylized floral medallions and pastel robes.
