A Pair of Chinese Yellow-Ground ‘Dragon and Clouds’ Lidded Jars, Daoguang Mark, 19th Century.
Each jar is decorated in a vibrant yellow glaze with vivid green enamelled dragons coiling through clusters of ruyi-shaped clouds, chasing flaming pearls amidst a turbulent sky. The base and shoulder are accented with stylized waves and geometric scrolls, while the domed lids echo the swirling celestial motif. The base bears a six-character Da Qing Daoguang Nian Zhi mark.
