A Chinese Famille Noire Dish with Phoenix and Dragon Motifs & SIx Character Marks to the Base.
A finely enamelled porcelain dish painted in the famille noire palette, featuring a vivid scene of two sinuous five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amid five colourful phoenixes, all set against a rich black ground. The central composition is surrounded by a yellow and pink ruyi border along the rim. The reverse is decorated with five iron-red bats, symbolizing blessings, and bears a six-character mark, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
