A Large Chinese Bronze Tripod Censer with Chilong Handles & Six Character Marks to the Base.
A bronze censer with a deep, rounded body and a slightly flared rim, resting on three short feet. The body is adorned with finely incised scenes depicting figures in a garden setting. The censer features two elaborate handles in the form of sinuous chilong dragons, each grasping the rim with their front claws while their bodies extend gracefully along the sides. The base bears a six-character mark possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
