This 18th-century depiction offers a temple plan of the Jagannath Temple at Puri, Orissa, India. Created using pigments on pata or cloth, it showcases symbolic representations of the city-temple’s ritual topography. Crafted by hereditary citrakaras or painters linked to the revered Jagannath Temple, these artworks serve as pilgrimage souvenirs. The earliest known piece, dated 1670, is housed in the Victoria and Albert Museum. Dimensions: 22cm x 25cm.
