A Chinese Agate Snuff Bottle with Carved Scholar and Disciples.
A translucent agate snuff bottle featuring natural cloudy inclusions in shades of milky white and amber. One side is intricately carved in relief with a seated scholar figure on a raised rocky outcrop, depicted addressing three kneeling disciples below him, possibly symbolizing the transmission of wisdom. The reverse is left plain, showcasing the swirling internal textures of the stone. The bottle is topped with a domed coral-red stopper with a metal collar.
