A Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Laughing Buddha Figure.
A Chinese porcelain figure of the Laughing Buddha, seated in a joyous posture with both feet visible, adorned in a vividly decorated Famille Rose robe featuring floral and butterfly motifs. The figure holds a ruyi sceptre in one hand and a turquoise-glazed money bag in the other, symbolising wealth and good fortune. A black beaded necklace with coloured accents drapes across his chest. The base shows a central ventilation hole and an impressed square seal mark.
