An Mughal Fluted Jade Bowl, 19th Century.
This finely carved bowl is fashioned from a pale green jade, elegantly ribbed along its interior and exterior to emulate the form of a blooming lotus. The evenly spaced vertical grooves radiate from a central point at the base. Its softly scalloped rim and low footring complete the delicate, floral-inspired silhouette.
