A Japanese Cloisonné-Inlaid Bronze Vase with Archaistic Motifs.
A Japanese bronze vase of baluster form with a flared neck and raised foot, finely decorated with colourful cloisonné enamel inlays. The body features horizontal bands of stylized archaistic dragon motifs in vibrant hues of turquoise, cobalt, crimson, and lime green, set against a dark bronze ground with dense geometric fretwork. The neck is encircled by a further enamelled frieze of mythical beasts in swirling forms.
