A Pair of Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Stem Cups, Late Ming Dynasty.
Each cup features a flared bowl raised on a short splayed stem, the interior and exterior freely painted in underglaze blue with floral and foliate motifs enclosed within concentric double-line borders. The brushwork appears spontaneous and expressive, with cobalt splashes showing variation in tone.
