A Chinese Bronze Censer in the Form of a Resting Waterfowl.
Cast in the shape of a plump waterfowl with tucked feet and a slightly turned head, this bronze censer features finely incised details to the wings, neck, and eyes. The bird’s back is fitted with a separately cast, removable cover formed by stylized wings, pierced with a circular aperture for ventilation.
