A Tibetan Bronze Figure of Vajrasattva Inlaid with Turquoise.
Seated in lalitasana atop a double-lotus pedestal, this bronze figure represents Vajrasattva, the bodhisattva of purification in Tibetan Buddhism. Finely cast, the deity holds a vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left, with a serene expression and elaborate crown adorned with turquoise inlays. The base is sealed and incised with a double-vajra (visvavajra), indicating consecration for ritual use.
