A Tibetan Bronze Figure of Kubera, the Buddhist God of Wealth, 19th Century.
A finely cast bronze figure of Kubera, the pot-bellied guardian of riches in Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The deity is portrayed seated in lalitasana atop a double-lotus pedestal, holding a mongoose in one hand and a precious gem in the other. He wears layered jewelry, a crown, and a sacred thread draped across his chest.
