A Safavid Tinned Copper Kashkul Beggar’s Bowl with Dragon-Head Terminals.

A finely cast and decorated tinned copper kashkul from the Safavid period, shaped in the traditional crescent form and suspended by a heavy chain. The surface is adorned with incised naskh inscriptions in Arabic, running along the rim and body, likely containing Quranic verses or devotional poetry. The sides feature arabesque medallions and floral cartouches, while the ends are capped with stylised dragon-head finials, each with a suspension loop. The vessel is supported on a short ring foot with subtle engraved details.
