The body is adorned with cartouches enclosing Arabic inscriptions in thuluth script, each finely rendered within diamond frames. Interspersed between the inscriptions are scrolling floral and vine motifs. The neck and foot are embellished with arabesque bands and the underside bears a six-character apocryphal mark reading Da Ming Zhengde nian zhi, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
