A Pair of Chinese Blue and White Porcelain ‘Dragon’ Cups.
Each finely potted cup is decorated in vivid cobalt blue with two five-clawed dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amid dense scrolling lotus on a pure white ground. The upper rim is encircled by a border of ruyi-head clouds, while a classic petal-lappet band encircles the base. The undersides bears a six-character mark, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
