An Islamic Ceramic Bowl with Arabic Calligraphy.
A glazed ceramic bowl featuring an outward-flaring form and adorned with intricate Arabic calligraphy in cobalt blue, set against a backdrop of green arabesque scrolls on a pale crackled ground. A band of stylised petal motifs encircles the foot, while a turquoise rim frames the top. The script appears to be written in thuluth style, wrapping around the bowl with decorative harmony.
