A Pair of Islamic Bronze Strainer Ladles, 12th Century.
A pair of Islamic bronze strainer ladles, each featuring a deep perforated bowl and a long flat handle with raised circular and linear geometric motifs. The handles are decorated with finely cast repoussé elements and circular bosses, suggestive of Seljuk or early Persian influence. The bowls are punctured with varying hole patterns, possibly intended for straining or ritual liquid use.
