A Framed Ottoman Red Ka’aba Kiswa Textile, 19th Century.
Woven in deep crimson silk and inscribed with repeated bands of the Shahada and other Quranic invocations in elegant thuluth script, this panel features diagonal chevron arrangements that create a rhythmic and devotional visual cadence. The inscriptions are executed in metallic thread with a narrow green border accenting the edges.
