A Russian Kuznetsov Porcelain Plate with Ikat-Style Polychrome Design, Dulevo or Riga, ca. 1891–1917.
A Russian porcelain plate by the M. S. Kuznetsov Company (Dulevo or Riga factory), circa 1891–1917. The decoration features a bold, ikat-inspired spray pattern—abstract medallion forms in purple, turquoise, yellow, and red—created with stenciled paint to replicate the softened, blurred edges of Central Asian ikat textiles. Stamped on the reverse with the iconic double-headed eagle emblem, printed in red—used by the Kuznetsov Riga factory from 1891 to 1917.
