A Japanese Bronze Model of a Softshell Turtle.
A naturalistic bronze figure of a softshell turtle, shown in a crawling stance with its elongated neck extended forward and four detailed legs spread to the sides. The domed shell has a smooth surface with subtle texturing, contrasting with the finely rendered skin folds and scales of the limbs and neck. The turtle’s head is shaped with a pointed snout and round eyes.
