A Chinese Gilt-Bronze Figure of a Qilin with Seal Mark, 19th Century.
The finely cast figure depicts a qilin standing four-square with its head raised and mouth open, revealing sharp teeth and a curled tongue. It has a prominent beard, curled mane, and a ridged tail shaped like a flame. Its body is adorned with cloud-like scroll patterns in relief. The underside bears an impressed square seal mark, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
