A Chinese Gilt-Lacquered Wooden Figure of Shoulao, Qing Dynasty, 18th–19th Century.
The figure is finely carved in wood and finished with gilt lacquer, depicting Shoulao, the Daoist god of longevity, characterized by his high domed forehead and flowing beard.
