A Chinese Imperial Yellow Glazed Porcelain Lidded Rectangular Box for the Islamic Market, Daoguang Mark.
The elongated rectangular porcelain lidded box is covered in a vibrant imperial yellow glaze, finely incised with five-clawed dragons among scrolling clouds and lotus motifs. The design extends seamlessly across the lid and sides, with precise incising visible beneath the glaze. A Daoguang six-character mark is inscribed in underglaze blue within a recessed cartouche at the front of the box, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
