A Chinese Famille Verte Plate with Figures in a Landscape, Kangxi Mark.
The plate is finely enamelled in vibrant famille verte colours, depicting a group of attendants and children within a lush landscape of trees, rocks, and flowing waters. The central scene is enclosed within a decorative border of floral sprays, grapes, and peonies in alternating cartouches. The reverse is painted with delicate floral sprigs and bears a six-character Kangxi reign mark in underglaze blue to the base, The base bears a six-character Kangxi mark enclosed within double circles, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
