A Pair of Tibetan Brass Architectural Plaques, 17th–18th Century.
Each plaque is repoussé worked in brass, depicting a naga-like deity with a human torso and serpent tail, crowned and adorned with necklaces and ornaments. The figures are shown raising an arm beneath a canopy of coiled serpents, surrounded by swirling motifs and bordered with lotus petal designs. Both plaques bear small perforations around the edges, suggesting they were once affixed as architectural or shrine fittings.
