An Indian Pahari school painting, circa 18th–19th century, finely executed in opaque pigments on paper. The composition depicts a richly detailed narrative scene: within a pavilion, a reclining female figure is attended by companions, while outside, women are shown amidst animals including cows, goats, and birds. In the foreground, a male figure wades through stylized waters carrying a tray, surrounded by lotuses, swans, and a reclining tiger.
