An Islamic Silver Pendant with Inscribed Turquoise.
A square-shaped Islamic silver pendant set with a turquoise stone of vivid blue-green tone. The surface is inscribed in black Arabic script with invocations and Qur’anic verses, arranged in circular form around a central dot. The turquoise is framed within a silver mount with a twisted border and suspension loop above.
Provenance: Part of a private gentleman’s collection, based in W London.
