A Chinese Crackle-Glazed Famille Rose Lidded Jar with Grape and Calligraphic Motifs.
A Chinese porcelain lidded jar decorated in vibrant famille rose enamels over a finely crackled glaze. The bulbous body features hanging grape clusters in red, yellow, and brown, set among green leaves and curling tendrils. The upper and lower borders are encircled with multicoloured rectangular cartouches containing stylised characters. The flat lid echoes the same grapevine and cartouche designs, and the base bears a blue mark, possibly indicating the period or origin of the piece.
