A Large Tibetan Bronze Figure of Tara, 19th Century or Later.
A finely cast bronze figure of Tara seated in lalitāsana, the right leg extended and resting on a lotus support. The deity is shown with a serene, downcast expression, adorned with layered necklaces, armlets, and an elaborate chignon crowned with a lotus finial. Her right hand is lowered in an open gesture, while the left is raised holding a lotus blossom. She sits upon a double-lotus pedestal with petal borders and a base framed by stylised floral and mythical creature motifs. The reverse displays smooth contours and a neatly finished surface.
H: Approximately 34cm
