An Indian Stone Figure of Ganesha, 18th–19th Century.
A solid stone carving depicting the Hindu deity Ganesha seated in a relaxed posture upon a rounded platform. The figure features a pronounced elephant head with large ears, an extended curved trunk, and painted traces of orange, green, and black across the facial area and body. Ganesha is shown with multiple arms holding various symbolic attributes, including a mace and a curved object. The rounded belly, bent legs, and stylised limbs create a compact, unified form. The reverse is flat and evenly worked, while the lower section presents carved animal motifs along the base.
