An Islamic Glazed Ceramic Chess Piece, Possibly Fatimid 12th Century.
A ceramic chess piece formed with a rounded, domed silhouette and finished in deep amber, cream, and black glazes. The surface displays sweeping dark linear bands across the front, creating a bold striped effect over a warm brown glaze. The back is coated in a rich glossy amber tone with natural lighter patches. Narrow ridges and smooth curves define the upper section.
